about us > our employees Jenni Melder Mrs. Melder is the Vice President of Operations at Parker & Associates and a Project Manager of environmental compliance auditing programs for two North American Class I railroad carriers. Mrs. Melder’s professional experience has primarily been in EHS auditing, project management of environmental compliance audit programs for several Fortune 500 companies, management systems services, and Air Program Management. Mrs. Melder has conducted environmental management projects in 40 states and in Europe. In addition, she has developed industry-specific EHS compliance audit checklists encompassing major U.S. (federal) and several state-specific laws and regulations as well as numerous foreign countries including Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Austria, France, Singapore, Spain, and United Kingdom. Mrs. Melder has experience as an audit team leader and regulatory environmental specialist, conducting audits and on-site inspections of clients and facilities such as chemical manufacturing plants; refineries; automotive supplier facilities; nuclear, fossil, and hydro electric power generation, transportation, and distribution facilities; major oil and gas exploration and production facilities; natural gas storage and distribution facilities; and railyards. As a member of several audit and inspection teams, she has conducted more than 170 multimedia audits and inspections, and has audit experience with the following environmental programs: air pollution control, water quality, hazardous waste, solid waste, oil spill control, and PCB management. Mrs. Melder is a graduate of the University of Houston – Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science.
