Each quarter Parker & Associates will highlight two associates. This quarter the spotlight is on Mr. Bill Nigro, Vice President Management Systems and Auditing and Harry Waggoner, Associate.
Mr. Bill Nigro joined the Parker & Associates team in May 2006 as the Vice President of Management Systems and Auditing. As an EHS professional, Mr. Nigro has constructed from the ground up benchmark Environmental, Health and Safety Management systems that have been employed by Fortune 500 companies on a worldwide basis. He has led division and corporate audit teams that have assessed operations in Europe, Asia, India and North and South America. In addition, he played a major role in the development of the internationally applied protocols for these audits. Mr. Nigro has obtained ISO 9000 and 14000 certifications for the facilities and divisions he has worked for without increasing manpower and in short time frames. He has managed shut down facilities to clean closure status and has supervised detailed environmental and regulatory assessments of facilities prior to divesture or purchase. He has obtained multiple corporate and international awards for his technical work and is credited with 3 Patents.
Harry Waggoner joined the Parker & Associates team in April 2008 as an Associate. Mr. Waggonner is a Marine Veteran and served as a decorated soldier from 1988-1992. Mr. Waggoner brings to Parker a vast compliance background in the public and private sector ranging from the Environmental Permits and Compliance Manager for a popular ski resort in the Northeast to an air, water, and waste enforcement specialist for a State Agency. Mr. Waggoner has participated as an active audit team leader and member in over 50 environmental compliance audits in the rail sector. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond in 1994, and his Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, South Royalton in 2000. |
